They may not be the latest or newest but these video and visual communication tools are positively all very useful if you need to publish and communicate online with clips and images. Convert and upload videos to multiple video sharing sites in one click, edit directly your images online without Photoshop, create effective slideshows in a snap are just some of the visual treats i have in store for you.

This my selected set of visual communication tools for this week:

  2. Improve Your Images: Free online photo editing service improves your images with one click
  3. Reshade: Resize any image online without installing any software on your machine
  4. GSpot: Free application allows you to discover codec, size, bitrate and format of any video file
  5. OffType: Draw and sketch images online with a brush and save it locally in GIF format
  6. Flvix: Convert YouTube videos to multiple formats online, with no additional software to download
  7. Best4c: Create drawings, maps and graphs with shapes, text and images
  8. Viewbook: Web-based service lets you upload, store and arrange your images in slideshows and presentations

  1. TubeMogul

    TubeMogul is a new free service that allows you to upload all of your videos to multiple video sharing sites, from one place. After you select a video, decide on which of the available sites it should go (Google Video, MetaCafe, MySpace, AOL, Yahoo!, Revver, YouTube and more), you just have to click the upload button and you're done. It also provides you with exportable statistics about your videos. Free.

  2. Improve Your Images

    Improve Your Images is an online photo editing service that improve and enhances your pictures in one click. You simply need to upload a picture or to type its URL, click a button, and wait a few seconds. You will then be provided with an improved image with enhanced color and contrast. You can then download it and save it on your pc. Free to use with no registration needed.

  3. Reshade

    Reshade is a free online service that anyone can use to resize images online without signing up to any service. You just have to upload a picture from your PC or paste its URL into the box: you can then resize, crop, smooth or sharpen your image. When you're finished, your final image will display and you will be able to save it locally by right clicking it and selecting "Save image as...". Free to use with no registration.

  4. GSpot

    GSpot is a free .exe application that can be run without any installation that enables you to discover which codec has been used to encode a particular video. After you import a video, GSpot will automatically give you all the information you need to play that file: video and audio codec, bitrate, size and format. It will then tell you if the codec you need is installed on your machine or not. Free to download and use.

  5. OffType

    OffType is a free web-based service that allows you to create and draw images online. It just gives you a brush and a blank space, in which you can draw whatever you want. You can select size and color of the brush, undo, redo, clear all and also select the background color. When done, you can click save, and you will be given the URL to download your image in GIF format. Free to use, no registration needed.

  6. Flvix

    Flvix is a free web-based FLV video converter that enables you to convert videos from YouTube to various formats. It is really easy to use, and fast as well: grab a video URL, paste it, decide the output format between .AVI, .MOV, .3GP, .MP4, .MP4 and click convert to be shown a download link with your converted video.It needs no registration to be used and is completely free.

    Best4c is a free online diagram creator that you can use to create drawings, maps and graphics. It is completely web-based and its simple interface gives you a blank surface on which you can add shapes, arrows, charts, and also text, images and grids. You can place objects back and forth the plane, and also edit them (size, color, font, shadow...). When you are done, you can export your creation in PDF or PNG format. Free to use, no registration needed.
