The US vs. John Lennon is a new provocative feature movie to be shown in commercial theaters starting this coming September. The movie reports John Lennon's transformation from a beloved popular musical artist, member of one of the most popular pop bands of those times (The Beatles), to a full-fledged anti-war activist and peace evangelist. The movie also explores why this became a concern for US government and what the US did to try to silence him.
The film also attempts to show that this was not an isolated event in the history of the US, but one that repeated itself many times and which it is in fact very relevant to our present-day situation.
