BlogBridge Gets Good!
During the night I received a welcome notification from Pito Salas of BlogBridge. In appreciation for some of the useful insight and advice I have provided to BlogBridge in the development and design of their unique open-source cross-platform RSS reader-aggregator, BlogBridge has officialized my acceptance to become part of its Advisory Board. I will be joining David Weinberger in the task of providing further development ideas, marketing vision and a ton of usability feedback.
I am very honoured of being part of the BlogBridge family, especially as this is one tool that strongly reflects the many things I fight for: open access, cross-platform compatibility, open-source, standards-compliant, easy-to-use, "smart".
As I wrote before, BlogBridge itself is an enabler of some of my own ideas as it includes a cutting-edge approach to creating newsmaster feeds, in a way that is both simple and effective. Check out the BlogBridge Expert Guides too, to get an idea of what expert filtering and aggregation of large collections of RSS-based sources can do to your RSS reading and news scouting experience.
Thanks to you Pito and Francois for appreciating my work and for providing me with such a great opportunity to contribute to the development of such a promising technology.
