Entice Subscribers To Open Up Your Email Newsletters

"Sending thousands of newsletters is ultimately a pointless exercise if those e-mail messages are not opened and read." It is essential therefore to strategically analyze those critical factors that determine how users react to your email messages. When subscribers receive your email alert or newsletter issue many variables are at play. It may be difficult for the novice publisher to have the refined sensitivity necessary to immediately understand what its best to do to guarantee high open-up rates. Here a few tips from Share-it:

1) Select a subject line that makes the recipient want to read further.

2) Make sure that the return address is one that is recognizable to the recipient so he or she will know who is writing the e-mail message.

3) Evaluate the best day and time to send an e-mail message.

4) Assess the best frequency for your newsletter.

5) Make sure you send out your news to those who have really requested it!
