UnixBSD (Mac OSX) Is The World's Safest Operating Systems

UK-based security firm mi2g has analyzed 17,074 successful digital attacks against servers and networks. The results may be surprising for some. The study by mi2g Intelligence Unit reveals in fact that the world's safest and most secure online server Operating System (OS) is proving to be the Open Source family of BSD (Berkley Software Distribution) and the Mac OS X based on Darwin. The BSD OSes (including FreeBSD and Mac OS X) proved to be the systems least likely to be successfully cracked, while Linux servers were the most vulnerable.
