A good point yours.
Basically the CA Initiative does not have this problem.

The system is very flexible and I really do not need for point b) to form.

It exists out there and I am only tapping into it.

It is all of the people like you and me that want to use Communication to solve critical issues for their own Good as well as for the one of society at large. They have already developed strong shared objectives in many of the "activists" areas (health, economy, justice, education, environment, alternative energy, etc.) and I am only offering them a way to realize how much more effective they can be.

Points a) and b) are already perfectly reconciled and helping each other in harmony under this CA Initiative.>

It needs only to be properly explained, showcased and made available.

I'll be happy to contribute to:

properly explaining it,

showcasing it,

making it available.

Say when!

Please extend this:
> Case "a": It took supercomputers to show which objectives could be achieved by people who shared them ...
with:
... because they (the supercomputers) *were too expensive*.

Please extend this:
> Case "b": It is going to take people with a sharable objective to show which platform can best be assembled to achieve it ...
with:
... because the objective *will be too complex too achieve* otherwise.

Finally, for *harmony* to be achieved *communication agents* may require to be hosted by a friendly *environment* ... my proposed metaphor for this type of environment would be *a canteen* .. of an international organisation ... such as Cern's canteen ... (in very old days it was run by a guy called *Tortella*) ... where each table and its bunch of occasional lunchers (ie: each weblog) .. happens to be *embedded* in a context where everybody shares a common objective ... with no need to state it .. as a motivation for what one does and says.

End of my two cents of the day :)

Luigi
