    1. Audio Scrobbler

      audioscrobbler_logo_260.gif
Audioscrobbler builds a profile of your musical taste using a plugin for your media player (Winamp, iTunes, XMMS etc..). It then sends the name of every song you play to the Audioscrobbler server, which updates your musical profile with the new song. Every person with a plugin has their own page on this site which shows their listening statistics. The system automatically matches you to people with a similar music taste, and generates personalised recommendations.

    2. OPML Editor
      OPML_Editor.gif
The OPML Editor follows in the tradition of simple text-based tools masquerading as rich development platforms. Inside every text editor is the potential of platform, and every platform must have a simple text editor. It was with this simple premise that Dave Winer set out in 1988 to make an outliner that was also a programming language and object database. Now, in 2005, all the power of this idea is available in a download that's about the size of a 15-minute podcast.

    3. Feed Shake
      feed_shake_logo.gif
Feedshake tool helps you to generate new feeds by merging, sorting and filtering existing online RSS feeds. You just add to the mix your preferred RSS URLs and Feed Shake does the rest. This is a great tool for RSS newsmastering tasks and to create News Radars. The service is free and does not require registration.

    4. iDJ - Ipod mixing console
      iDJ_230.jpg
The iDJ portable console enables mobile DJs and iPod enthusiasts to seamlessly integrate their portable music libraries with other music and sound-reinforcement systems transforming the iPod from a personal music player into a source playback device. Compact form factor, comprehensive feature set, this Numarks product called the iDJ transfroms a double iPod cradle into a fully-featured DJ mixer powered by two iPods. Numark’s iDJ features two universal iPod docking stations that accept all model iPods with the bottom connector. Featuring large iPod navigation controls, this two-channel mixer provides 3-band EQ with gain control for each channel and a dedicated microphone input with tone and level control. Each channel also provides phono/line inputs for adding additional devices such as CD players and samplers into the mix.

    5. SketchUp
      sketchup_logo.gif
SketchUp is a very simple but extremely powerful tool for creating, viewing, and modifying three-dimensional models quickly and easily. SketchUp is the opposite of a traditional CAD drawing program as it makes technical drawing as easy as sketching while maintaining the speed and flexibility of traditional CAD.

With facetious you can query the delicious database and extract not only results relevant to your keywords but a useful set of complementary data including tags, creators, web site and publishing date.

    10. TOR: The Onion Router
      whitedust_security_logo.gif
Tor or the so-called Onion Router is an interesting tool that can be used for good or evil. What the creator of Tor wants you to think is that it is an anonymization tool that allows users to connect to servers free of the worry that those servers are logging every detail of your browser, email address, and other information.
