41) Visipix
http://www.visipix.com/

Visipix is an art museum, clip art, and photo gallery with around 100,000 exhibits. If you publish the photos, the site requires crediting the authors and Vispix.com somewhere near the pictures. Per the copyright page, all copyrights are free. However, they can't be used in the sex industry or in the promotion of tobacco and alcohol.
The photo gallery organizes the photos with thumbnails and a short description. Browse the gallery by jumping pages, doing a keyword or syllable search or you can select one of four other search methods. The Help button explains how to use each method. The Clips section contains clip art, but most of them are not what most of us call clip art as they are like photos rather than flat images.
You can zoom in pictures with the site's Java tool. Just click on the image to zoom in and hold Shift while clicking to zoom out. The Start Mirror button shows a mirrored version of the photo and the Info explains this process as Western and Eastern eyes look at art differently. Each picture comes with multiple sizes; click on the one you want.
It also has two newsgroups: Visipix Photo and Visipix Art, which showcase more pictures. Beware these might be copyrighted, but it's not clear which are and which aren't. This site has many wonderful things to discover, so be prepared to spend a lot of time once you get there.
