Amazing Textures is a collection of images and textures for personal use only per the license agreement. Textures are a great way to enhance a site or picture.Images and textures are grouped into three main categories: nature, urban and other. Currently, there are over 600 available for downloading.
Discover new textures by browsing categories, new images, top textures, or using the search tool. Every image comes with information on the date uploaded, hits, number of downloads, ratings, file size and whether or not a hi-res version is available. The site also comes with a lightbox feature so you can save your photos for later reference.
Tutorials are also available where you can get help with modeling, texturing and other general tutorials. If you can't find your answers here, you might try the forums. Amazing Textures offers a small and unique collection.

Picturestation is a joint project between Screengang and Distinct that has over 6000 photos in its collection. It's a photo exchange site in which photographers get two download credits for each contributed picture accepted into the collection.
Registration is required as you can't download photos without contributing, but you get 10 credits after registering. The site also accepts illustrations. The site's license agreement explains how your photos and other photos can be used.
The nice thing about the site is that it's community-driven and this leads to a diverse collection of photos. The site's features include comments, lightbox (where you save select pictures), rating and e-cards. Discover photos by browsing categories, using the search tool, or getting a random selection of photos.

National Park Service (NPS) has over 9000 images available in the public domain for use, free of charge as long as you credit the photo as "NPS Photo" or "NPS Photo by (photographer's name)". The photos are specifically related to Yellowstone National Park covering animals, fire, geology, park structures, special events and more.
According to the site's FAQ, NPS has 19,000 images and plans to continue scanning and posting those that aren't yet online. Images are neatly organized in thumbnails on their category pages along with their file names and a brief description.
When you click an image, the site loads the full size of the image and you can right-click and select "Save as..." It's a well-organized site considering there are thousands of photos with many more coming.

Travel the world in pajamas with Ixuz Travel, which is dedicated to collecting photos from around the world. The site has a Korean version of its pages. Currently, the collection has over 2700 pictures sorted in 85 albums and 18 categories.
Select a country to explore and these pages show places for that country or continent along with the last updated albums, last additions, last comments, most viewed, top rated and random images. Each image page includes details such as who uploaded it, album name, ratings and so on. The menu on top of the image lets you send an ecard with the photo or browse the album by going forward or backward.
Membership is required to send ecards and saving images into your favorites. The site also has a community through its forums, private messages and travel stories. Its wiki tour guides provide background information on various countries. Click Top 10 from the left menu to see the top items for most read stories, most commented stories, polls and most downloaded files. After you browse this site, you feel like you've gone on an adventure.
