WebTrain provides a full integrated recording facility allowing the presenter to record a full session as it is being delivered and to later host such recorded rich media content for others to view.

The playback controls are well designed and very simple to use. They include standard playback, stop, and fast forward controls as well as
audio volume, audio muting, a switch to hide the presenter video feed if present and a "pan" control for users not able to see the presentation slides in full (due to lower screen resolution).

You can immediately verify the quality of event recordings by looking at the large set of samples available on WebTrain main site.
First time activation of the recording is not as simple as it should be. A default message board must have been set up and curiously enough the microphone and screen-casting (application sharing) functions must be turned off. (For first time users it is not self-evident how to activate the MessageBoard where to store the event recording and this is not clearly explained in the online Help.)

Recorded events can be offered free or in a pay-per-view mode, allowing the host to provide access to valuable recorded events as a paid service to customers.
