PowerPoint Presentation Facilities

The WebEx presenter cannot only upload PowerPoint files for a live presentation, but almost any type of document available on her computer - PowerPoint, Word and PDF files all worked flawlessly during my tests.
Unlike most other systems, WebEx does not convert uploaded documents to JPEG files, but to a vector-based format. This makes it not only possible to maintain high display quality for text and graphics when presenting in full screen or zoom mode (from 25% to 400%), but it also allows to preserve PowerPoint and Acrobat transitions and special effects.

At any time during a live presentation with WebEx the presenter can decide to have all attendees view the presentation material in full screen mode. However, if participants are not satisfied with the full screen mode, a control button allows them to adjust the screen size to their own requirements.

Each item displayed, created or imported during a WebEx presentation remains easily accessible through a tab on a separate "virtual" page. Tabs allow for easy navigation and switching between main topics and materials as they are needed during the presentation.

Another very handy presentation management facility offered by WebEx is the access to a thumbnails view of all the slides present in an uploaded presentation. In this way the presenter can easily select what slide to access and double click it for direct immediate display. If desired, the presenter can allow participants to access this optional view themselves.

A presentation can be run in "automatic" mode and slides can be displayed according to a preset timing interval established by the presenter. This is very useful for taking full advantage of the time available before a presentation starts or as a marketing/communication tool after the show is over.

When a PowerPoint file or a document is imported into the main presentation window, all annotation tools are available and can be used. The owner of a shared document can allow other participants to save the annotated document for offline viewing after the meeting.
