OverviewWebEx is one of the leading Web conferencing providers in the market today. Its system and technology have pioneered Web conferencing over the last three years though few other companies have paid close attention to WebEx ingenious and unique solutions. Providing a very rich set of functionalities and tools to support its live meeting capabilities WebEx can be utilized for e-learning, presentations, collaboration work and marketing activities. WebEx integrates audio and video conferencing and supports both Internet Phone (VoIP) and teleconferencing (telephone). Further, meeting participants can use a simple text chat tool to communicate.
Users have to ability to share PowerPoint presentations, to surf the Web together and to view, mark and co-edit documents. Polling is supported, as well. There is also a possibility to remotely control participants' applications or computers in order to provide instant technical support. WebEx services can be either paid per use or per month. Pay-Per-Use prices start at 45 US Cent per minute and user. (One hour meeting with ten people would be (USD $ 270).
