Annotation Features - WhiteBoardSeveral drawing tools are available on the WebEx whiteboard and for annotating documents presented in the WebEx main presentation window. However, the presenter cannot control the style and thickness of such drawing tools, which makes their present usefulness quite limited.
The checkmark, the "x" and the arrows are quite useless. A thickness slider control would be all that is needed.
The text tool on the other hand is very effective. On the whiteboard, text can be placed of whatever font, size and color chosen by the presenter or (authorized) participant. The WebEx whiteboard can be made up of as many pages as needed and creating new pages is extremely easy. Screenshots of other applications or documents can be pasted to a whiteboard page. WebEx offers also a live laser to direct participants' attention to certain areas and a marker to highlight content. If applications and documents are shared in a separate window (i.e. NOT in the WebEx main presentation window), only the highlighter is available to make annotations.
