A full recording facility, based on the Windows Media Encoder technology, is integrated inside WebConference.com.

Access to the recording function is easy and immediate thanks to a clearly identifiable red recording button available at the extreme right of the WebConference toolbar.

When clicked, the recording facility presents the options for one of two possible recorders: The Advanced recorder for all Windows PC system running on Windows 2000, Server 2003 or XP and the Standard Recorder reserved for Windows 98/ME users.

The ensuing recording control panel is extremely simple to use as it offers three simple functional buttons to Start, Pause and Stop the recording.

The output file of the recording created is a .wmv file, which contains all of the recording for both the visual and audio part of what took place inside the WebConference.com session. Everything displayed inside the main presentation area and all of the text chat exchanges and video/audio feeds are fully recorded.

Cons:
The recording does not capture any of the Web site pages shared during a session with the dedicated Page Push facility. As such Web pages are displayed in a separate browser window from the main webConference.com one, the recorder does not capture that content.
