Within Webconference.com the presenter/moderator has the ability to launch and activate all of the different facilities which are not normally not available to the attendees. These include the Powerpoint presentation facility, the application sharing function, the whiteboard, pushing web pages, recording and polling.

Furthermore the presenter/moderator has the ability to activate the audio and video for other attendees as well as the option of handing out the presenter rights to anyone.

The Promote Participant to Presenter feature allows the presenter to promote any participant in the Web conference to run the conference with the same rights as the presenter. To activate this feature the presenter needs to highlight the desired participant by clicking on it with the left mouse button, and then select “Promote to Presenter” in ensuing pop-up mini menu.

The conference host has ultimate control of what goes on during the webconference session. At anytime the conference host has the ability to regain control of the conference session if needed.

To do so, the presenter simply needs to highlight the conference presenter (i.e. Darryl Harrington) by clicking on him with the left mouse button. In the ensuing pop-up mini menu the presenter needs to select “Regain Control” and the full control of the conference is transferred bac to him/her.

Another control in the hands of the presenter/moderator is the ability to "lock" the text chat area. This prevents attendees from using and adding further text in it.

The moderator/presenter can also "terminate" any attendee by simply clicking with the left mouse button on the name appearing in the participants' list and selecting the corresponding function.
