Participant Controls

« Moderator Controls | Main | Polling »

Participants have no special controls available to them outside of being able to access the text chat and, when granted by the moderator, being able to lead other participants in a co-browsing session.

Participants can signal their desire to interven or talk by pressing the F9 (or Ctrl key) button, which displays a visual icon next to the attendee name in the participants list. This may prove though of ebing of limited value when several participants are in a room and the attendees list scrolls off the screen.

The amount of control a participant has may be increased by providing him/her with an access password that grants him/her moderator rights, which include the ability to ban and banish other users as well as to mute selected ones.

Through the "Options" button participants can change their display name inside the attendees list.
