Web Touring - Co-Browsing

« PowerPoint Presentation Facilities | Main | Presence Awareness »

Web touring is together with audio over IP conferencing one of the best VoiceCafe features. Web touring is particularly well developed in all of VoiceCafe products where it is implemented in a very straightforward way.

Key features are:

  1. A "preview" function to assess accessibility, quality and appropriateness of selected web pages before "broadcasting" to all participants.
  2. A URL favorites list, in which one can pre-enter and save up to 20 URLs to be shown during the presentation. These URLs can be edited or modified at any time. These URLs act as a simplified Favorites/Bookmarks list in which you can easily access the online content needed for your presentation.

  3. A Follow-me mode, which allows participants to follow all of the web pages displayed by the presenter.

A set of standard Internet Explorer buttons is also provided to support the Web touring facility. These include:

FORWARD and BACK ARROWS - These allow the presenter to step back or forward to previously 'pushed' or browsed pages, without needing to click links.

STOP - Clicking will stop any 'page push' in progress.

REFRESH - This refreshes the browser screen (same as clicking F5 button or Ctrl-R). This is generally useful when a page doesn't load properly or something 'locks' up the browser.

PRINT - Prints any page that is present in the main browser window.
