Event Management

The COLLABORATE module of the OfficeMaster integrates an effective set of event management facilities. These allow you to schedule one or more meetings online.

Meetings can be set to be private or they can be publicly listed.

From the event management area the presenter can input the email addresses of the invited participants to which an automatic invitation will be sent. The invitation will contain a clickable URL that will allow easy access for invitees to enter the meeting.

The event management facility also has a Contacts area in which the presenter can input or import directly from Microsoft Outlook all of the contacts to be utilized for sending out meeting invitations.

A weak point of this event management facility is that it is not possible to send invitations out once a meeting has been scheduled.

The Outlook E-mail Integration facility creates a useful interaction between the two products by allowing a meeting session to be scheduled in the Outlook Calendar from an e-mail produced by the OfficeMaster COLLABORATE module.

Another feature of the Outlook integration is the ability to import names and Email addresses from the Outlook or Outlook Express Address Books into the OfficeMaster COLLABORATE Address Book.
