Within the VCOM central web conferencing facility the use of the Ctrl key to talk triggers not only an audio beep that signals the user to talk thereafter, but also a green balloon that is shown in the participants list window next to the name of the user pressing the Ctrl key. This can be intelligently utilized as a "raise hand", or voting facility which can allow the presenter to ask questions to all participants or see when one of them wants to reply or comment on a certain point.
