Annotation Features and WhiteBoard
Annotation facilities allow presenters and participants to annotate and mark in real-time any document, Web page or application being displayed during the live event. Normally such facilities include basic geometric drawing tools, a freehand line tool and a text typing function. The more sophisticated ones allow for advanced color, formatting, moving and editing of such annotations. An eraser is always present to allow for deletion of any annotation. Very useful is the "hide annotations" function which allows to temporarily hide or show any annotation made on screen.
• Annotation tools always available
Annotation tools are accessible and can be effectively utilized across all of the Web conferencing facilities available (Web touring, PowerPoint presentation, Application Sharing, etc.)
• Accepts pasted screenshots
It is possible to paste screenshots into the whiteboard facility to easily show and annotate images coming from other applications, documents or Web pages.
• Snapshot - screenshot facility
The snapshot screenshot facility normally allows the presenter to easily "grab" a digital image of anything that can be displayed on a computer screen. This allows to launch a program, open a text document or Web page and take a fast "snapshot" of it in order to be able to "share" it with the audience attending the live presentation.
• Basic drawing objects
Basic drawing objects normally include basic geometric shapes like ellipses and rectangles, line and a freeform drawing paintbrush.
• Formatting of drawing objects
Formatting of drawing objects normally includes the ability to select colors for fills and lines separately and to choose custom line thickness and styles for all lines drawn.
• Advanced pointers
Advanced pointers include highlighters, digital laser pointers, live cursor, spot light, step marker and any other live mark-up tool that facilitates easy and effective annotation of content being presented live.
• Eraser
The eraser provides the ability to selectively delete the annotations created.
• Hide/Show annotations
The Hide/Show annotation facility allows to temporarily hide or show one set of annotations.
• Text
A text facility providing the ability to type text over the content being presented.
• Text formatting
Text formatting provides the tools to control style, size, font and color of the text being used.
