The presentation facilities offered by smartMeeting are on par with those offered by most traditional Web conferencing providers. PowerPoint presentations can be easily uploaded, displayed and shared with anyone of the people present in a smartMeeting virtual office. The user interface is rather simple and easy to work with.
smartMeeting is an effective collaborative space. Small to medium sized groups can work best in this type of space which provides ideal comfort to groups sized 5-25. Spatialized sound and the multiple virtual rooms feature (within the same office) provide for a uniquely flexible working environment. In it, multiple groups (up to 4 in the basic default office space) can work in parallel without disturbing each other while having at their disposal all of the presentation and collaborative facilities they may need. Persistency of the virtual space and of the documents, artifacts created and objects present in the space offer additional value and represent a close equivalent to the permanent shared secure spaces offered by Groove, Tenix, VIA3, IsoSpace and other similar full collaboration environments. smartMeeting is very affordable and it is available commercially in one of two possible modes: Pay per Use or by Subscription. The Pay per Use mode offers access to a smartMeeting virtual office for 24 hours at USD $ 15 for 10 people. With the Subscription model you can rent a virtual office space for USD $ 20 per month.
