Annotation Features - WhiteBoardIn its multi-room virtual office facilities smartMeeting integrates multiple whiteboards. One for each of the four discrete presentation zones. The whiteboard tools cannot be mixed or overlayed onto other presentation, document sharing or Internet co-browsing content. The smartMeeting whiteboard is relatively simple to use, but it offers only a limited set of primitive tools. Line drawing is very basic and so is the text input which integrates a formatting function. The whiteboard integrates multiple working pages which can be easily called up via a numbered set of buttons appearing in the lower right part of the whiteboard. A "Save To Disk" icon in the whiteboard main toolbar allows direct and immediate saving of any whiteboard creation to the local memory. The whiteboard also integrates a locking function, to prevent the group for further annotating a document, and a "delete-last-object-created", a special kind of Undo which makes the more traditional much missed as soon as you test the new one. A standard set of typical annotation and mark-up tools complements the above. This includes: straight line, freehand drawing, circles, rectangles, text tool and highlighter. It is also possible to control the thickness (three levels) and color of anyone tool. No eraser is available as all graphic objects created are selectable, movable and easily deleted by using the delte key on the PC keyboard.
