PowerPoint Presentation Facilities

WaveThree Session does not integrate a traditional presentation facility like many Web conferencing tools do, in which PowerPoint files can be uploaded for online delivery.

Session provides instead a very innovative presentation and collaborative facility, appropriately named Media Space. Within this independent application the user can freely drag and drop any graphic file or rich-media audio or video available to them.

Session utilizes a P2P approach to the delivery of content present inside Media Space, meaning that each and every file added into the Media Space is actually replicated on each Session participant computer. This provides for a very responsive presentation space once all media have been replicated across the participants' computers, plus the ability to manipulate, edit and work collaboratively on these elements in ways previoulsy unavailable to online meeting participants.

Everyone in the session can indeed add images, slides, annotate and collaborate in real-time in this unique visual collaborative space. Slides can be created, copied and duplicated, moved and deleted with ease.

Multiple images can be uploaded in the same slide space and composed in any way possible in real-time. Images can also be resized freely by any participant.

Media Space can be effectively used for delivery of PowerPoint presentations.

Graphic file formats supported are GIF, JPG, BMP, PNG, PICT and TIF. In addition multimedia files in the Quicktime .MOV file format as well as MP3 music files can also be uploaded and shared in real-time.

To simplify access to graphics and media files to be used during a real-time session, the software installs by default a folder on the desktop of your computer labelled Media Library. The presenter can populate this folder with all the presentation slides, photos, illustrations, screenshots and media files that she will want to use during a presentation. As the Media Library is replicated in a custom window inside the Media Space, anytime a participant wants to add a new visual element, she needs only to drag and drop it from the Media Library window into the main presentation space.

PowerPoint presentations can be saved ahead of time with a two-click operation. Inside PowerPoint presentations can be saved in any major standard graphic file format including jpg, png, bmp, tif, gif and others. Once you have saved all of the files in a presentation into anyone of these graphic file formats (jpg and gif preferred for performance, bmp and png preferred for quality), you can simply copy the folder containing all of your slides inside the Media Library folder on your desktop and start showing your Powerpoint slides in Session with much ease.

The Session Media Space can also be run in full screen mode allowing the effective delivery of professional presentations.

Presentations created/ assembled with Session Media Space can also be saved and called back up on request as needed.

Session also allows the use of an effective application sharing module which can also be effectively used for the delivery of online Powerpoint presentations. In this approach you launch PowerPoint on your computer and then allow all Session participants to see the presentation (or whatever else) you are running on your own screen.
