PowerPoint Presentation Facilities

« Weak Points | Main | Web Touring - Co-Browsing »

WebOffice provides a good basic set of presentation facilities. From PowerPoint presentations to Microsoft Word files, any document that needs to be shared and presented online can be easily uploaded to your WebOffice server through the standard File -> Open menu command.

Alternatively, you can open any document in its respective application and print it to a special driver, which is installed on your PC by WebOffice ("MeetU Publisher"/ "WebOffice Publisher").

When you print a document to the WebOffice Publisher, you are prompted to specify the URL and password of your virtual office in order to upload your document to the "Uploaded Documents folder" under the WebOffice File Cabinet.

All uploaded documents are stored on the server and are easily accessible from a list that is displayed on the right pane of Meeting Manager.

Once you have selected the document you want to present, you can easily access any page within this document.

WebOffice converts all uploaded documents to a bitmap format and allows presenters and users to adjust the zooming of the page being presented to optimize display for different screen resolutions. However, a full screen view is not supported. As the documents are converted to a bitmap-format, PowerPoint transitions and special effects get lost.

Once a document is displayed in the WebOffice Meeting Manager presentation area, it can be marked and annotated (see section "Annotation Features and WhiteBoard").
