Polycom WebOffice offers some unique features in its web conferencing system.
- It is possible to monitor participants "synch" status when viewing presentations or other material composed of multiple pages. Furthermore an indicator provides information about the "focus" of each meeting attendee: is the participant looking at the main presentation window or has she wandered off to check her email?
- Polycom WebOffice sports also an effective "Remote Control" feature, which allows the presenter to take control, once authorized, of a remote PC. This is particularly useful for providing technical support and assistance and configuring remote stations.
- In order to ease access and meeting management WebOffice automatically creates a public Internet URL where your students, invitees or participants can directly access your virtual meeting room.
- Files and documents of any kind can be uploaded and made available for use before an online presentation starts.
- Presentation facilities are essential and offer good basic controls.
- Advanced security features including password protection, encryption and locking commands are provided.
