Ease of AccessSetup - Installation Main Customer Support Starting a meeting is a simple and straightforward operation. It can be performed in several ways; either you access the Web Office Manager from your WebOffice site on the Web (see Event Management) or from your local computer (via the Polycom WebOffice item in your start menu, the WebOffice icon in your system tray or the WebOffice shortcut on your desktop). If you access WOM through your personal WebOffice site on the Web you just have to enter your password. If you want to access WOM directly from your local computer, you have to specify the URL (name) of your Web Office and your password.
Once you are logged into the Web Office Manager, you can click a "Start Meeting" button (or select "Start Meeting" from the menu), to launch your online meeting.
Your guests can access your WebOffice site once you have provided them with the URL via email or phone. When they enter the WebOffice site they can view your current status (in a Meeting vs. available vs. unavailable) and decide whether to join a meeting, send an instant message or leave a message at the virtual office. If you are in a meeting, the guests can request to join the meeting. If you are available but not in a meeting the guests can initiate an IM (instant messaging) session and you can send them an invitation to a meeting. When you are not available, visitors can leave you a message.
