Customer Support

« Ease of Access | Main | Security »

Information about available WebOffice Customer Support is not very easy to find. If you click "Get Help" on your personal WebOffice site, where you would expect to find all available support resources listed, you are only provided with the following three links:

1.) Online Help
2.) Support
3.) Utilities

If you click on "Online Help" on the Web site you are directed to the following URL:
http://www.webofficedemo.com/resources/webhelp/ webhelp.htm

If you access the Client Help inside Meeting Manger, you get a second help manual with an identical design, but different contents.
http://www.webofficedemo.com/resources/webhelp/ meetuclient_WebHelp/webhelp.htm

If you click on "Support" inside the "Get Help" box on your WebOffice site, you are provided with a contact form to report problems. However, inside the online help manual you can also find an email address to contact support staff directly: webofficesupport@polycom.com

You might find useful information about WebOffice in the Polycom Knowledgebase:
http://eknowledge.polycom.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/ WEBCGI.EXE?New,Kb=Atomos,Company={D8339D43-262B- 11D6-868A-009027D5C679}

Apart from the problem that some support resources are quite difficult to access, the content quality of the some support materials is not very high. Neither the FAQ document nor the two WebOffice help manuals are thorough and complete. The manuals do not cover many important features and functions and provide only very rough information about the most basic functionalities.
