Annotation Features - WhiteBoardWebOffice offers a set of pointers, lines and other markers to annotate documents, presentations or screenshots.
The available drawing objects are very primitive and there is no option for choosing color or line thickness. A text tool is available, but text cannot be formatted.
However, WebOffice provides some useful pointers that are not generally found in other web conferencing systems. First there is a set of arrows, which facilitates the pointing at elements in your presentation and second there is a useful transparent marker. However, it is not easy to draw straight lines with the marker (though those are the ones needed 99% of the time). Also notable is the presence of an Undo button, an apparently simple addition, but indeed a rare function to find in other systems. Annotation tools are only available when files are presented in the Meeting Manager presentation area. It is not possible to annotate documents shared via application sharing. A snapshots facility allows you to capture any active window and publish it in the Meeting Manager main area.
You can create a snapshot by clicking the F4 key. A dialog box appears that prompts you to name your snapshot. Once you have named it, it is listed in the documents area on the right pane and displayed in the Meeting Manager presentation area.
