Polycom WebOffice is a powerful web conferencing system, which provides virtual meeting offices for your staff and collaborative teams. Virtual meeting offices include three integrated components:

1) A personal WebOffice site on the Web
2) The WebOffice Manager
3) The Web Office Meeting Manager

While the WebOffice Web site and the WebOffice Manager serve mainly communication and organization purposes, the Meeting Manager is the actual collaboration facility.

WebOffice offers a good basic round set of conferencing and collaboration tools including instant messaging, whiteboard, document and application sharing, a basic polling facility and a unique screenshot-taking facility.

WebOffice does not integrate VoIP. Instead, it requires you to use a normal telephone line for the voice part.

WebOffice allows you to monitor participants' "synch" status when viewing presentations or other material composed of several screens. It is possible to hand out control or to remotely control other users' PCs.
