Video ConferencingAudio Conferencing - VoIP Main Desktop - Application Sharing Microsoft NetMeeting integrates a basic video conferencing (one to one) facility. The facility allows to: a) Send and receive real-time video. b) Send video and audio to a user who doesn't have video hardware.
Among the several control options relating to the video functionality, it is possible to change the size of the video window that you are sending to another user during a video conferencing session. (Remotely make the trade-off between faster video performance and better image quality.) NetMeeting allows the user to set the size of the video feed being sent out to anyone of three different optional video window sizes. The size of the video window can be enlarged up to 400% via the Tools menu. A slider-based control allows fine video quality tuning, by trading compression and frame rate to provide higher quality (less compression) or faster/smoother video stream (more frames per second). A nice feature integrated in the video conferencing capabilities of NetMeeting is the PnP (picture in picture) facility, which allows you to see a small video of yourself superimposed on the standard video main incoming feed.
