Polling

« Participant Controls | Main | Event Management »

Microsoft Live Meeting integrates a simple-to-use polling facility integrating a multiple-choice question creation system with a live dynamic display of the overall results obtained.

Creating a poll during a Microsoft Live Meeting is extremely simple. The polling functionality can be accessed both through the Insert menu as well as through the dedicated button displaying a red "check mark" in the main toolbar.

The presenter/moderator can "close" the poll anytime by double-clicking a simple open door icon placed at the bottom left of the main presentation pane.

Participants are also given the option of expressing a "No Vote" through a black-colored button placed again near the bottom left of the main pane.

When a poll is being a run a standard set of "polling" commands appears in a dedicated toolbar above the main presentation pane (top right). These allow the presenter/moderator to show publicly the results of a poll, to hide them, to close, edit or clear any active poll.
