Microsoft Live Meeting offers ample opportunities, unlike many other competing products, to session participants to be actively involved, engaged and providing feedback, questions and their own content and material to the presentation.

It is the presenter/moderator of a Microsoft Live Meeting event that decides how many features and facilities the participants will be able to use, but if she desires she can activate for them all of the presentation features as well as the ability to chat, ask questions, edit materials and more.

Participants in a Live Meeting session are provided with the means to provide a color feedback of their "mood". This allows attendees to signal the need for slowing down, proceeding further, or having the desire to stop.

Participants can also engage in one-to-one chat conversations with other meeting attendees, and if authorized by the presenter/moderator can also see all of the other participants names, seating disposition and "mood".
