Linktivity WebDemo offers a simple, but effective Polling feature that allows the presenter/moderator to ask the feedback of the meeting attendees on a certain topic. WebDemo's online documentation about this topic is called User Polling.
Review Overview
This review discusses the following aspects of Polling in Linktivity Webdemo:
Enabling Polling
To enable a polling session, the presenter/moderator clicks on the button labeled "User Polling" in the top toolbar of the host control panel.

Enabling polling
Creating a Question
Immediately after the polling functionality is enabled a simple dialog box is displayed containing the four basic types of questions available in WebDemo and an option to browse the local system for existing polls.

Collecting the Results
While the attendees are casting their votes to the poll, the presenter/moderator can see the poll progress on the screen:

Saving and Reusing Polls
Individual questions may be saved in a file with the .POLL extension. Existing poll files may be opened by the presenter/moderator during any presentation, either by using the <Browse> option from the opening Polling dialog box, or by using the WebDemo document manager.
Cons
- Only one question at a time may be created. Consequently the meeting presenter needs to create a separate .POLL file for each question when preparing several questions upfront.
- Poll results cannot be saved to a file or be printed.
- Poll results cannot be shared with or broadcast to the meeting attendees.
Conclusion
Linktivity WebDemo contains a simple, bare-bones polling feature. To compare it to that of other tools within this Guide, check the Polling Comparison Table.
