Video and multimedia streaming collaborative support is made available through two possible routes:

Through Microsoft NetMeeting integration which allows users to move easily between the two applications. This capability is enhanced with Groove's Windows XP support and integration.
By utilizing an additional Groove module called MediaTeam 1.1 and developed by a third party provider. This module can be purchased separately for USD $ 44.95. With MediaTeam a team of Groove users can simultaneously review Windows Media and streaming video files.

MediaTeam 1.1 is an audio and video review tool for Groove. MediaTeam's easy-to-use features allow a team of Groove users to simultaneously review Windows Media and streaming video files.

Unlike other Web-based A/V review applications that have uni-directional synchronized media playback (a single person controls and everyone's computers follow), MediaTeam 1.1 provides patent pending multi-directional synchronized media playback (multiple people can control playback on each other's machines) when used with Groove.

Using MediaTeam and Groove, participating Groove users are able to see and hear media files simultaneously. MediaTeam is useful for reviewing marketing and corporate communications as well as online learning.
