All data in Groove Workspace is automatically encrypted, both on hard disk and moving over the network.

The integration of peer-based authentication ensures confidentiality. End-to-end encryption ensures integrity of content and activity—even for users who don't care about security. Shared spaces are private; only invited members can see or create content.

All content that is exchanged and published in a Groove workspace is fully encrypted before being exchanged on the Groove P2P network. Automatic 192-bit encryption and peer-based authentication are fully integrated and ever-present.
