Event ManagementPolling Main Cross-Platform Compatibility Groove provides the ability to invite at any time colleagues and other Groove users to attend a particular session, meeting or presentation. Invitation management is very simple and straightforward and can be accessed any time while in a Workspace. Groove comes also equipped with a Tool called Meetings that allows you to schedule and manage meetings by providing support features for inviting participants, scheduling date and times, preparing a meeting agenda, and providing meeting minutes and action lists after the session is over. Groove provides a high level of integration with Microsoft Outlook for individual users, as well as with Lotus Notes. Groove allows the conversion of Outlook email threads into Groove shared spaces by a simple click of the mouse. Outlook integration includes the ability to send an email thread, calendar entries and contacts to a Groove shared space, as well as the ability to publish selected meeting information from the Meetings and Calendar tools to the Outlook calendar. Tight integration has been engineered to allow best use of other Microsoft Office applications like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project. Groove can utilize Microsoft Windows Messenger to invite contacts to a shared space. Groove allows users full integration with Microsoft SharePoint Team Services. Lotus Notes users have also the option to link to Notes documents from within Groove "shared spaces". Once integrated, Groove represents just another client type for Domino, just as Domino supports other clients, such as browsers. Finally Groove offers NetMeeting integration, which allows users to move easily between the two applications. This capability is enhanced with Groove's Windows XP support and integration.
