Text Chat

GoTomeeting integrates a standard text chat facility inside its main control panel.

The text chat component is easy and intuitive to use. Messages can be either sent publicly to all attendees (default setting) or privately to any selected participant.

A unique feature allows host/presenters to set-up beforehand custom Welcome message to be displayed automatically to attendees as they arrive into the meeting.

In GoToMeeting the text chat log can also be easily saved as a text file by using the "Save Chat Log" command in the File menu.

Cons:

No auto URL or the ability to automatically convert URLs and email addresses to clickable items.

No text formatting facility. Text format and style is standardized for all

No date/time stamps can be activated next to text chat messages.
