Browser CompatibilityCross-Platform Compatibility Main Firewall Friendliness Microsoft Internet Explorer™ 5.0 or higher, Netscape Navigator™ 4.0 or higher and other Java-enabled Internet browsers are fully supported for both the presenter/moderator and the session participants. Glance staff recommends only using Microsoft Internet Explorer on Macs or the very latest Apple Safari browser. Earlier versions of the Safari browser had an atrocious integration of Java and Netscape for Mac never fixed its gaggle of Java bugs, either. It is also possible to view Glance sessions with ease on Opera (Linux/Solaris) and reportedly even from a wireless PDA running Linux! The best way to find out if a particular browser is sufficiently compatible with Glance is to run the Can-you-Glance test.
