Glance is a unique Web conferencing tool which specializes in providing effective and reliable application sharing functionality with the minimum of fuss and with the least intrusion possible.

I have now been using Glance for several months and I must say that this tool is truly outstanding.

In its simplicity and ease of use it has captured the essence of what most people want to do: collaborate without dealing with another complex application.

Especially when collaborating with others simplicity and ease of use are of essence as we must take responsibility for forcing others to use tools and technologies that may be new, difficult or not compatible with their computing systems.

Glance zeros on these very issues and resolves them all in a thorough and effective way. Glance wipes out the problems that could encumber your ability to effectively collaborate with others online, no matter what systems they have and the level of technical knowledge they possess.

Glance requires next to no time for learning and it materializes on your screen as a little icon in the system tray. There is only one menu and only a handful of options to choose from.

E-x-t-r-e-m-e simplicity. Activating a new conference in which you can show whatever is going on in your screen to as many people as you like takes only two clicks. (Glance asks you only once for your Glance Address and password, when it is first installed. Thereafter, you need only to double-click the “G” icon to instantly start a new session.)

To get people to "see" on their screen what you are doing, you need only to send them a message with a predefined URL and a specific 4-digit access code that characterizes each session.

Glance has no complementary functions like text chat, voice or co-browsing. It only does application sharing of your screen to one or multiple users.

Users need only to:
a) have a Java-enabled browser

b) have their firewall to allow a small 25 KB unsigned Java applet to get through
c) log on at the specified URL.

Mac, Linux, Unix geeks can all attend your demo and see what you have to show, without worrying about having to intall a plug-in or needing to download some special tool.

Glance can be used one-to-one or also in a one-to-many mode.

Live collaboration can't get simpler than Glance.

If your need is only for application sharing you can't wrong by choosing this tool.

Glance is one of Robin Good's Best Buy and Most Recommended Solution.
