ezWebcar "passengers" have access to all of the basic controls available in the ezWebcar main control panel.
If allowed they can send further invitations, and they can also chat, edit and add notes.

It is possible to collaboratively compile an ezWebTour, by getting into a co-browsing session using ezWebcar and by participating in the creation of an ezWebTour. You may create a new WebTour while you and your passengers are within a webcar, however, only the current driver can add pages to the WebTour. (All the members in the webcar MUST have the modify rights on the WebTour in question to be able to add pages to the WebTour. Otherwise only the creator of the WebTour will be allowed to add pages.)

Passengers in a webcar may need or like to stop and wander off in some interesting direction during a tour. Anyone passenger can signal the "driver" of this need for "lingering off" and if authorized, the passenger can linger off for a while to rejoin the group at a later point. In short, lingering means stepping out of the webcar temporarily. (Imagine that you are in webcar with few other friends and you come upon a site which interest you and you want to spend some more time on this website but others in the webcar want to go ahead to another place. In this case you can choose to linger. While lingering, your browser will not show the Web pages that everyone else is seeing and you will be able to navigate by yourself. You will still be able to chat with other members in the webcar and monitor active members of the webcar. When you choose to stop lingering your browser will immediately come in synchronization with the webcar and show you the web page that driver is sending out at that time.)

A passenger can start to linger only with the driver's permission. That is why starting to linger is a two-step process if you are a passenger in a webcar and there is an active driver present in that webcar.
