Co-surfing is made possible only through use of the application sharing facility. By launching an Internet browser all participants will be able to see the Web sites being accessed by the host PC simultaneously.

Though effective co-browsing can be certainly achieved in this way, it does require much more resources (bandwidth) for the attendees to follow, it is slower and it generally limits the quality of the images being displayed to 256 colors.
