eBLVD is a good and reliable hosted Web conferencing service, which offers application sharing, remote control, VoIP in one simple to use and cost-effective solution.

eBLVD offers two types of services.

eBLVD Remote, intended mostly for technical support applications and remote access, and Online Meetings, covered here, which built on the core technology powering eBLVD Remote, adds event management and other goods to support and facilitate specifically online meetings and presentations.

eBLVD provides an easy to use application sharing facility which allows the presentation of documents and visual materials to multiple participants. This core facility is complemented by the integration of text chat, a basic recording facility and remote control features.

eBLVD is in many ways similar to GotoMYPC and other remote control tools that allow basic desktop sharing for technical support and remote access to computers inside and outside the enterprise network.

eBLVD allows the presenter to set-up a "host" machine and to invite selected participants to join into an online meeting. Participants can join either via email or by accessing the generic eBLVD site where they need to sign in.

Just like with GotToMyPC and similar systems, one can make available more than one PC as a "host" and participants may select which PC to logon.

eBLVD Online Meetings differs from tools like GoToMyPC by leveraging a solid Web-based event management facility to fully handle invitations and set up official online presentations, while adding good VoIP, file transfer and copy and paste between remote PCs.
