Event ManagementPolling Main Cross-Platform Compatibility When you login into Centra eMeeting you are immediately confronted with a calendar and a timetable to schedule your meeting. You can set a certain date and reserve as much time as you want for your meeting. Centra has anticipated the needs of users accessing this service from different parts of the world and has therefore created a facility that allows presenters to easily set up the reference time zone for the event they need to conduct. Once you have scheduled your meeting, you can specify a topic and enter the email addresses of the participants you want to invite. You can immediately start your meeting or add the meeting to your calendar and start it at the scheduled date/time. An email invitation to your participants is sent out as soon as you either start the meeting or add it to your calendar. You can send a Calendar Notification (vCAL) together with the email invitation to you participants. The notification will appear in their existing desktop calendar such as Outlook, Schedule+, and others using the vCal calendar file format. You can re-schedule your meeting or invite new participants at any time. It is also possible to schedule meetings and invite participants directly from your Microsoft Outlook interface.
