Audio Conferencing - VoIPText Chat Main Video Conferencing Centra eMeeting 6.0 supports both, teleconferencing and two-way VoIP (voice-over-IP) conferencing. Centra provides you with an Audio Wizard, which you can run prior to or during a meeting to optimize your audio settings. During the meeting, speaker and microphone sliders are available to adjust your speaking and listening volume.
Centra eMeeting provides you with the ability to talk hands-free either throughout the meeting or for a limited time period. If you choose hands-free talking throughout the meeting ("Voice activation") your voice is automatically transmitted whenever you speak above a preset volume. This option is only available when you use a headset. If you just want to talk hands-free for a limited time period, you can press a "Lock to Talk" button. When you have pressed "Lock to Talk" other users are not able to speak at the same time. Audio quality is acceptable and the codec seems to be using only a moderate amount of bandwidth to transmit voice.
