GoFish is a multimedia search platform that searches for more than just podcasts. However, it has a section for podcasts with over 1000 listed. They're sorted by date by default, but you can change it to sort by popular or name.
On the left side is a list of categories which also includes Recent and video podcasts. You can browse by category, date, name or use the search tool.
A category page lists each podcast in its own box along with its overview that includes the Web URL, podcast URL, last update, an email a friend link and a link to listen to the podcast. Select a podcast to view its post shows and descriptions of each.

AmigoFish is a podcast rating resource where podcasters can submit their podcasts and get rated. To rate podcasts, you must register. Once you start rating podcasts, the yellow stars reflect your ratings while the red stars are your predicted ratings. It's similar to sites that allow you to rate movies so you can get suggestions for movies you might enjoy.
The more podcasts you rate, the better the suggestions you get for which podcasts you're most likely to enjoy. If you're not seeing stars, make sure you enable Javascript. When you rate something as "not interested," it removes the podcast from the list of predictions without impacting your neighbors or predictions.
"Cosmos for a show are the shows that have most commonly received the same rating by the same people. If two shows are always rated the same by all users, whether that is high or low, they will always be high in each other's cosmos." When you've registered, you can view your ratings and predictions as well as import / export them.
