iTuneTracks offers more than just a podcast directory. iTunesTracks Download Chart lists the most popular songs for different genres and sells songs and accessories. For the most part, it's the UK version of iTunes that isn't owned or run by Apple. LWS Group UK independent owns and runs the site.

Expect to find the latest music, videos, exclusive podcast, news and iPod gadgets. To view the directory anytime, click Podcasts from the menu and browse the directory by category. The podcast page also lists the most popular audio books and links to their sites.

The iTuneTracks blog covers the latest pictures, videos and Internet advertisements. The blog also reports on special online deals and provides iPod-related tips. If you're outside of the UK and end up on the iTunes store, beware that the site connects to the UK iTunes store not the US or any other edition.

The Music and Video menu items take you to a page with links to the different stores for buying and downloading music and video. The pages also explain what's legal and not legal in terms of downloading audio and video files.

Mirpod is a feed player that also has pictures podcasting and a directory. The site is also available in French, Catalan and Spanish. To learn how to make a podcast feed, go to the Make section and review its detailed tutorial. It also has a feed validator to ensure your feed validates otherwise it won't work.

The left navigation is where to go find podcasts by category, search, tags or most popular. Roll your mouse pointer over Podcasts Directory to see a list of categories and select the one you want. The list goes off the screen, so click on a category to get the full list that appears after the current category's list.

It's a community-oriented site where registration is free and allows you to get recommendations from the community by finding people with similar interests. The guide lists the top rated podcasts and the last 100 added podcasts. Registered users can add a podcast by clicking on the + icon. ViCasting is a podcast directory and search engine with over 9000 podcast feeds. The site highlights a featured podcast feed along with newly added feeds. Browse the podcast feeds and podcasts by category or use the search tool to search for feeds or podcasts.

You can also discover new podcasts by checking out the featured podcasts. You can try to get your podcast to appear in the featured list by emailing ViCasting to get a review of your podcast. Features show up on a first come first server basis. the site will not feature a podcast that is found to have adult content.

Each podcast listing displays its title, a brief summary and a link to get more details. The detailed page lists the podcasts in which you can play from within the Web browser (it opens a new window). If you register, you can add the podcast feed to your favorites. The directory contains tags. The larger the tag, the more popular it is. You can also search podcasts from this page. The search results page can be downloaded to your MP3 player and they also display related results. Top podcasts show the most popular podcasts for the day and for overall. You can also browse popular podcasts by category by selecting it from the drop-down list.

When you click a thumbnail from the list, it takes you to that podcast's home page. podOmatic has forums for discussing podcasting and getting help with the site. Registration is required to take advantage of its other features as explained in the FAQ.
