In today's visual communication tools new selection you can find some great services to create presentations online, to animate your images and save them as GIFs, to take screenshots of any website automatically and more. The idea is to bring you any and all visual and video communication tools that can help you communicate more effectively online.

  1. Ajax Presents

    Ajax Presents is part of the Ajax13 web-office suite, and it allows you to create, edit and view PowerPoint presentations. Its interface is identical to Microsoft's owned software, with the online difference that this one is web-based and free. You can create presentations, or simple open existing one from your Ajax13 online space(1GB), or upload them from your pc. It is completely web-based and free to use. Requires you to be registered to Ajax13.

  2. Picasion

    Picasion is an online application that lets you instantly create animated gifs online. You can upload images from your hard drive or grab images directly from Picasa Web or Flickr. There are a few simple options you can use: you can choose the size of your resulting animation from the list or adjust it manually and you can select the frames speed in your animation. No registration is required and it is free.

  3. Reflection

    Reflection is a web-based service that anyone can use to add reflections to any picture. All you have to do is provide the URL of an image you want to edit, click go, and you're ready to begin: you can set the opacity of the reflection, height, background color, and even scale the whole image by using simple sliders.   4. ShrinkTheWeb

    ShrinkTheWeb is an online service that takes screenshots of any web-page. All you have to do is input the URL of the site you want to take a picture of, wait a few seconds for it to complete the queue, and get your file. You can capture a standard screenshot-style thumbnail with no registration, or if you pay for a premium account, you can have more options like specific screen capture or making a full-length thumbnail that shows the entire length of the page, from top to bottom.

  5. Daily Color Scheme

    Daily Color Scheme is a website that does exactly what it says: it offers a free daily color scheme that you can import and use in your design softwares. You can also browse past schemes, flicking into the daily archives, or make a research basing on specific keywords. Then you can import the scheme you like the most into Photoshop, Illustrator, or download the CSS and/or HTML file. Free.

  6. ColorToy 2.0

    ColorToy is a free color scheme generator that generates complementary colors to the one you provide. With no signup required, you can input your color through RGB or HEX code, click submit, and get a list of 9 complementary colors with the relative HEX code below them. The service is free to use, with no registration needed.

  7. Imagery

    Imagery is an image search engine that you can use to search for free pictures on the web. After you type a query and decide how many results you want per page, you can browse the pictures and get all the infos by mouse-overing on it: it will display size, dimensions and URL. Everytime you click "next", more images will load for you to browse on the same page. When you find an image, just click on it, and download it. Free.

    FontCubes is an archive of Web 2.0 fonts that you can use for any project or purpose. You can browse for fonts filtering them by rate, letter, popularity, addition date and, when you find the one you like, you can preview every single letter or number, and download the zip file containing the font. The service is completely free to use and you are not asked for any registration.
