The director, Davis Guggenheim, uses words, images and Gore's concise litany of facts to build a film that is both fascinating and relentless.

You owe it to yourself to see this film. If you do not, start thinking what to say to your kids when they will ask you why you didn't ever tell them about these issues.

Media don't talk about it, governments don't agree on key issues, and petty monetary interests continue to drive a self-inflicting damage that may have consequences well beyond your worst imagined nightmare.

"An inconvenient truth" eloquently weaves the science of global warming with Al Gore’s personal history and lifelong commitment to reversing the effects of global climate change. A longtime advocate for the environment, Gore presents a wide array of facts and information in a thoughtful and compelling way. The film is not a story of despair but rather a rallying cry.

Here, in support of the need for taking positive action toward resolving these issues, is a hour and twenty minutes long video-recorded presentation by Al Gore himself explaining why Global Warning is a topic that is of highest interest for anyone on earth and what you can do about it. The Al Gore presentations on Global Warming, which he had been giving for some time, are wonderful examples of great communication and presentation skills, so much so, that the movie includes parts of his award-winning PowerPoint presentations.

Facts are clearly stated, charts are shown, and the pictures and video clips shown scream our planet agony by themselves.

Unless you and I take the time to really listen, watch, ask and understand what is really going on, when it comes to global warming, we don't seem to stand even a chance for a (better) future.
