Correcting Images In PowerPoint: The Picture Toolbar

Images are worth a thousand words. And yes, they can often be the key to get a difficult message across in a live presentation.

But boy is it difficult to edit these images and prepare them for correct display. Unless you enjoy working with a digital image editing tool like Photofiltre, IrfanView or Photoplus (all free), how can you easily adjust your images before placing them in a slide for a presentation?

 

 

Not many people know that PowerPoint itself can come to the rescue. Available to all users in all versions of PowerPoint is the useful Picture Toolbar. A little collection of handy features that allow cropping, brightness and contrast controls for any image you have in a PowerPoint slide.
