* Submit Your RSS Feed To MSN Search Via XML-RPC
Online Marketing
It is now possible to submit your RSS news feed to what is set to become one of the major RSS search engines out there: the all new, freshly launched MSN Search.

The opportunity, which as I had reported before through my RSSTop55 was already available to all independent publishers via the MyMSN Portal facility "search for content to add" feature, it is now consolidated and made more effective thanks to the partnership MSN Search has just finalized with news syndication service Moreover.
"Moreover Technologies, the premier provider of aggregated online current awareness information, today announced the selection of their RSS feed search and access technology by MSN to provide convenient access to millions of blogs and other RSS feeds from the My MSN homepage." Moreover already provides current news content to MSN Search and Newsbot services.
So, if you are inside the Moreover news database, you are also automatically inside the MSN Search database.
Here is how to do it:
Bloggers wishing to submit their feeds to Moreover for inclusion within the MSN Content Search can visit http://www.moreover.com/ping.
The Moreover Ping Server enables a wide range of publishers, from major international news sites to personal Weblogs, to automatically notify Moreover when new content has been published.
By pinging the Moreover Ping Server is used to automatically inform Moreover whenever you have new content updates on your site. When Moreover receives your notification ping, it sends out an automated program to your site to collect the new content and post it to its news syndication network.

"Bloggers and other RSS feed owners are able to conveniently submit their feed for inclusion within the My MSN content search via Moreover's ping server."
Out of the partnership between Moreover and Microsoft a number of new features will shortly become available through MSN Search. These are:
Feed Discovery -- Enables My MSN users to identify and subscribe to RSS feeds based on specific themes and topics independently of the fact that the sources are major established news sources or individual blogs.
Feed Reading -- Integrated and optimized RSS feed reading provides wider distribution and exposure to small indepent publishers while reducing bandwidth demands on them.
RSS Search -- Full RSS search across the complete content of all RSS content resources. Unlike other RSS search tools that only search across the information appearing the actual RSS feed, Moreover will enable MSN users to search against the full content of the originating posts.
